Walton & Company’s Engineering & Design team creates mechanical systems for commercial, industrial and manufacturing facilities that are built around each client’s facility and operational needs. Estimating & Preconstruction
Our Estimating and Preconstruction teams help clients move projects forward with clear planning, accurate budgeting and practical construction input. Whether working from internally generated designs or outside engineering plans, we look for opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce conflicts and keep projects on schedule using industry-leading software.

Virtual Design & Construction (VDC)
Walton & Company uses AutoCAD Fabrication CADmep and Navisworks to create a 3D model and coordinate mechanical systems in a 3D environment before work begins in the field. With the use of a Faro Focus reality capture scanner crews can use high-definition scans to create as-built conditions to coordinate with new systems. The use of a Trimble total station powered by Walton & Company ensures accurate layout and maximizes productivity. With this complement of technology Walton & Company’s Virtual Design Department can identify potential conflicts early in the design process, improving coordination between trades and supporting smoother installation during construction. It also reduces the need for RFIs.
